Chicken Pesto Bake Recipe
A luxurious chicken pesto bake recipe which pairs chicken breast with a decadent pesto sauce.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- ⅔ cup pesto genovese
- 2 yellow bell peppers, small, seeded and sliced
- 12 cherry tomatoes, cut in quarters
- ½ cup Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, coarsely grated
- black pepper, to taste
- pinch nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Place chicken breasts in a baking dish. Season with black pepper and a pinch of nutmeg.
- Top with few basil leaves, yellow bell pepper, and cherry tomatoes.
- Spread pesto genovese over each chicken breast and top with Parmigiano cheese.
- Bake for approx. 25 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy.

Notes
- You can replace grated Parmigiano Reggiano with mozzarella cheese or use both of them.
- If you like crunchy texture, you can combine coarsely chopped walnuts with pesto genovese.
