Roasted Pear and Mascarpone Pasta Purses Recipe
A luxurious Roasted Pear and Mascarpone Pasta Purses recipe which pairs roasted pears and creamy mascarpone in a decadent pasta “purse”.
Ingredients
- 24 Pasta Wrappers
- 1 Pear, large, peeled, cored, and diced
- 1 cup Mascarpone
- ¼ cup Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese, grated
- Salt, a pinch
- Black Pepper, to taste
- Balsamic Vinegar Glaze
- Pine Nuts, toasted, to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the filling by placing pear, mascarpone, and Parmigiano in a mixing bowl. Stir well to combine.
- Place a teaspoon of filling in the center of each pasta wrapper.
- Pull up all the sides to make a purse shape. Press the dough at the neck of the “purse” and repeat with the remaining wrappers.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook them for 90 seconds to 2 minutes.
- Use a slotted spoon and transfer them onto a lined baking sheet.
- Bake at 350°F for a couple of minutes, until lightly browned.
- Serve drizzled with balsamic vinegar glaze and sprinkled with toasted pine nuts.
Notes
For more flavor, add toasted chopped nuts like almonds or walnuts.
