Chicken Pesto Bake Recipe
A luxurious chicken pesto bake recipe which pairs chicken breast with a decadent pesto sauce.

- 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- ⅔ cup pesto genovese
- 2 yellow bell peppers, small, seeded and sliced
- 12 cherry tomatoes, cut in quarters
- ½ cup Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, coarsely grated
- black pepper, to taste
- pinch nutmeg
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Place chicken breasts in a baking dish. Season with black pepper and a pinch of nutmeg.
Top with few basil leaves, yellow bell pepper, and cherry tomatoes.
Spread pesto genovese over each chicken breast and top with Parmigiano cheese.
Bake for approx. 25 minutes.
Serve and enjoy.
- You can replace grated Parmigiano Reggiano with mozzarella cheese or use both of them.
- If you like crunchy texture, you can combine coarsely chopped walnuts with pesto genovese.
- For more flavor, spread some finely minced garlic over chicken breasts.
