- 2 pounds Chicken Wings
- 2 cups All-purpose Flour
- Salt, to taste
- White Pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup Butter
- 2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 2 tablespoons Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese, grated
- Vegetable Oil, for frying
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking dish with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and pepper.
Coat each chicken wing in the flour mixture.
Heat vegetable oil in a heavy pot and deep fry the wings for approximately 5 minutes until lightly golden brown.
Place them onto a wire rack to drain the excess oil.
Arrange the wings onto the baking dish and bake them for about 15 to 20 minutes.
Melt the butter in a small pan. Remove from heat and mix in the garlic powder and one tablespoon of grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese.
Place baked chicken wings into a large bowl and toss them in the seasoned butter.
Sprinkle the wings with the remaining Parmigiano Reggiano cheese.
