- 16 oz Farfalle, or any pasta of your choice
- 1 cup Chicken Broth
- 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
- 1 cup Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese, grated
- 1 ½ tablespoon Italian Seasoning
- 3 Garlic Cloves, minced
- Salt, to taste
- Black Pepper, to taste
- Pine Nuts , optional
Prepare pasta according to instructions on the package, keeping in mind to set the timer 1 min less than directed to keep the pasta al dente.
In a saucepan over medium heat, mix the chicken broth, heavy whipping cream and cloves of chopped garlic.
Let simmer for 10 minutes.
Add cornstarch, grated Parmigiano Reggiano, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Mix well to combine.
Remove pasta from heat and drain in colander, reserving some of the pasta water.
Add the pasta to the cream sauce, adding a little bit of the pasta water to help coat the pasta.
Sprinkle some salt and pepper, and some more Parmigiano.
Add pine nuts for additional crunch (optional)
Serve and enjoy.
