Chocolate Lasagna Recipe
A luxurious Chocolate Lasagna recipe which pairs an Oreo cookie crust and chocolate pudding with a decadent homemade whipped topping.
Ingredients
- 36 whole Oreo Cookies, regular or double stuff
- 6 tablespoons Butter, unsalted, melted
- 8 ounces Cream Cheese, softened
- ½ cup Sugar, granulated, divided
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 2 tablespoons Milk, cold
- 7.8 ounces Chocolate Pudding Mix, instant
- 3 ¼ cups Milk, cold
- 1 ½ cups Chocolate Chips, mini
- 2 cups Whipping Cream, heavy
Instructions
Make the Whipped Topping
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream with an electric mixer on medium-high speed until soft peaks form.
- Add half of the granulated sugar plus all the vanilla extract, and continue to beat on high speed until stiff peaks form.
Assemble the Chocolate Lasagna
- Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor or with a rolling pin until finely ground. Reserve 1/4 cup of the cookie crumbs for later.
- In a large bowl, mix the remaining cookie crumbs with melted butter until well combined.
- Press the cookie mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish to create an even layer of crust.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese, granulated sugar, and cold milk until creamy.
- Fold in 1 1/2 cups of the homemade whipped topping and mix until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture ontop of the cookie crust.
- In another large bowl, whisk together the instant pudding mix and cold milk until thickened.
- Spread the pudding mixture on top of the cream cheese layer.
- Cover the pudding layer with the remaining homemade whipped topping.
- Sprinkle mini chocolate chips and the reserved 1/4 cup of cookie crumbs over the top of the chocolate lasagna dessert.
- Chill the chocolate lasagna in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or until firm.

- You can adjust the amount of sugar in the whipped topping to your liking.
- Feel free to use a piping bag to add the final whipped cream layer on top of the chocolate lasagna.
