Salami and Brie Crostini Recipe
A luxurious Salami and Brie Crostini recipe which pairs crusty bread with a decadent salami, brie, and balsamic topping.
Ingredients
- 1 French Baguette, thickly sliced
- 8- ounce Brie cheese, round, thinly sliced
- 4- ounces Salami
- ½ cup Cranberry Sauce
- ¼ cup Olive Oil
- Fresh Mint
Balsamic Glaze
- 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar
- ¼ cup Balsamic Vinegar
Instructions
- Add brown sugar and balsamic vinegar to a saucepan over medium-low heat.
- Simmer until the glaze has thickened.
- Take it off the heat once it’s ready.
- Lightly brush the baguette with olive oil and toast in a 350 degree Fahrenheit oven for 8 minutes.
- Divide the brie cheese on the toasted baguette slices.
- Add a slice of salami and a liberal teaspoon of cranberry sauce on top.
- Drizzle each salami and brie crostini with some balsamic glaze and garnish with mint leaves.
- Serve immediately and enjoy.
Notes
- The balsamic glaze will continue to thicken as it cools.
- You can substitute apricot jam for cranberry sauce if you prefer.
- Feel free to use prosciutto if you don’t want to use salami for this crostini appetizer.
