Vin Brulé (Mulled Wine) Recipe
A luxurious Vin Brulé recipe that pairs red wine with a decadent blend of warm spices.
Ingredients
- 1 bottle Red Wine
- ¼ cup Honey
- ¼ cup Brandy
- 1 Orange, sliced
- 1 Cinnamon Stick
- 2 Cloves
- 1 Star Anise
- 1 Nutmeg, grated to taste
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients in a large pot.
- Heat the Vin Brulé mixture over low heat until it gets hot, but not to boiling point.
- Let it sit for about 30 seconds to let all the flavors meld together.
- Remove it from the heat and strain the ingredients into a pitcher.
