- 1 loaf Baguette, coated in seeds
- 3 tablespoons Olive Oil
- Basil Leaves, fresh
- 6 ounces Gorgonzola Cheese, sliced
- ¼ cup Walnuts, garnish
- Salt, to taste
- Black Pepper, to taste
Preheat an oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Cut the bread into one-inch slices. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
Place them on the baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Bake the bread for 5 to 7 minutes.
Once done, remove them from the oven.
Place a slice of gorgonzola cheese on each crostini. Add a fresh basil leaf on top and finish it off with a walnut.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
- You can use any crusty bread to make your crostini.
- Feel free to substitute pecans or pine nuts for the walnut in this recipe.
- Sprinkle a touch of red pepper flakes if you want a bit of heat.
