Chicken Marsala Recipe
A luxurious Chicken Marsala recipe which pairs chicken breasts and sauteed mushrooms with a decadent Marsala sauce.
In a shallow bowl, add garlic powder, salt, pepper and flour, and whisk together.
Pound the chicken flat to about a ¼ inch thickness.
Dredge the chicken in the flour mixture and set aside.
Add 4 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once the butter melts, add chicken and cook each side for 3 to 4 minutes or until golden brown.
Once the chicken is fully cooked, remove from the skillet and set aside. In the same pan, add 1 tablespoon of butter; once the butter melts, add the mushroom and cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until browned.
Add garlic and continue to cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Next, add broth and wine, and allow the mixture to simmer for 10 to 15 minutes until reduced by half.
Add cream and chicken to the skillet and cook for 3 minutes or until the sauce thickens. Once ready, transfer your chicken plus a generous amount of sauce onto plates and serve immediately.
