Lasagna Recipe with Cottage Cheese
A luxurious Lasagna Recipe which pairs homemade tomato sauce with a decadent cottage cheese mixture.

30 oz Lasagna Tomato Sauce, homemade 1 1/2 cups Cottage Cheese 1 Egg 1/2 cup Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese, grated 1 teaspoon Parsley , Salt to taste , Black Pepper to taste 12 Lasagna Sheets, fresh 3 cups Mozzarella Cheese, shredded 2 cups Gouda Cheese, shredded 1/2 lb Ground Beef, cooked
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
In a mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese, egg, grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine and set aside. Prepare lasagna sheets as indicated on the package instructions. Meanwhile, mix sauce and meat together. Cover the bottom of the dish with a layer of the sauce, then add lasagna sheets on top.
Next, spread out half of the cottage cheese mixture, followed by another layer of lasagna.
Add a layer of lasagna sauce and top with the remaining cottage cheese mixture.
Use up the rest of your lasagna sheets and spread the rest of the tomato sauce on top. Create the last cheese layer by sprinkling on shredded mozzarella and gouda cheese.
Bake for 40 minutes.
Serve and enjoy.
You can replace gouda cheese with either Edam, Raclette, or Gruyere cheese.
