Lazy Ravioli Lasagna Recipe
A luxurious Lazy Ravioli Lasagna recipe which pairs ravioli pasta with a decadent meat and tomato sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. Ravioli Pasta, premade (not frozen)
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 Onion, diced
- 1 lb. Ground Beef
- 2 ½ cups Tomato Basil Sauce
- ½ tsp Italian Seasoning
- ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese, shredded
- ½ cup Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
- Salt, to taste
- Black Pepper, to taste
- Basil, for garnish
Instructions
- Put a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil. Once the oil is warm, add the onions and cook for a minute or two.
- Next, add beef and break up the meat using a wooden spoon.
- Season with Italian seasoning and cook until beef is cooked through.
- Incorporate the tomato basil sauce and parmesan cheese and cook until the cheese melts while stirring continuously.
- Prepare a baking dish and spread a thin layer of the meat sauce in the bottom.
- Add a layer of ravioli followed by another layer of beef sauce and a layer of shredded mozzarella.
- Repeat the process to make another layer of ravioli, beef sauce and cheese.
- Cover the dish with aluminium foil and place it in a preheated oven (350 degrees Fahrenheit) and bake for 40 minutes.
- Remove the foil and continue baking for another 10 minutes.
- Once the lazy ravioli lasagna is ready, remove it from the oven and garnish it with fresh basil leaves.
- Serve immediately and enjoy.
Notes
- Use either cheese or mushroom ravioli when preparing this dish.
- You are welcome to omit the ground beef or substitute it with Italian sausage as you make your lazy ravioli lasagna.
- Add shredded provolone or fontina cheese on top to make it extra cheesy.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
