Meatball Recipe without Bread Crumbs
A luxurious meatball recipe that doesn’t use any bread crumbs.
Ingredients
- 2/3 lb Ground Beef
- 1/3 lb Ground Pork
- 2 tablespoons Parmesan Cheese, grated
- 1/3 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 Egg
- 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley, chopped
- 1/3 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1/3 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- Salt, to taste
- Black Pepper, to taste
- Nutmeg, a pinch
- 4 tablespoons Olive Oil, extra virgin
- 2 cups Marinara Sauce
- 1-2 cups Mozzarella, shredded
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F.
- Combine all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
- Use greased hands to mix the ingredients until homogeneous.
- Shape 12 meatballs.
- Heat extra virgin olive oil in a cast-iron skillet.
- Add meatballs and cook for 10 minutes. Toss often so they can cook evenly.
- Add marinara sauce, toss to combine. Cover and cook over medium-low heat for 12 minutes.
- Sprinkle with grated mozzarella and bake in the oven until the cheese has melted.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- Serve with pasta or toasted wheat bread.
- You can also combine grated parmesan cheese with dry mozzarella.
